Israeli forces invade northern Gaza Strip

Gaza - Ma'an - Israeli tanks, jeeps, and bulldozers entered the northern Gaza Strip town of Jabalia on Sunday morning amid heavy gunfire, witnesses said.

Sources on the ground in Jabalia said Israeli ground forces, with helicopters overhead, had crossed at least 500 meters past the border wall into the Gaza Strip.

This is an ongoing incursion.
