PFLP fighters attack Israeli watchtower

March 29, 2008 1:47 P.M. (Updated: March 29, 2008 1:47 P.M.)
Gaza - Ma'an - The Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), claimed responsibility for launching a rocket-propelled grenade at an Israeli watchtower east of Maghazi refugee camp, in the Gaza Strip, at 11:15 on Saturday morning.

The group told Ma'an that the operation was a part of their "ongoing battle with occupation," and a response to Israel's "crimes" in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
