Palestinian child killed by Israeli fire in Gaza Strip

Gaza - Ma'an - A Palestinian child named Tamir Abu Sha'ar was killed after being hit by a stray gunshot from Israeli soldiers in east of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip on Tuesday.

Muawiya Hassanain, the director of ambulance and emergency services in the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said the child was seriously injured and was hospitalized in the Al-Aqsa Martyrs hospital in Deir Al-Balah.

Separately, two other Palestinians have been injured after Israeli forces began a limited incursion in Abasan, near the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. They were hospitalized in Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, Hassanain said.
