Gaza - Ma'an - The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing affiliated to the Islamic Jihad, claimed responsibility on Monday afternoon for the launching of two homemade projectiles at the Israeli town of Sderot in western Negev.

They said in a statement that the shelling was in retaliation for the ongoing Israeli atrocities committed against the Palestinian population.

Israeli media sources also reported that two projectiles fired from the Gaza Strip have resulted in minor damage to a number of houses in a Kibbutz near the town of Sderot.
