Al-Quds Brigades claim two military actions

Feb. 18, 2008 10:39 A.M. (Updated: Feb. 18, 2008 10:39 A.M.)
Gaza - Ma'an - The military wing of Islamic Jihad, the Al-Quds Brigades, claimed responsibility for firing three homemade projectiles at the Israeli town of Sderot in the western Negev on Sunday evening.

Separately, they said that their fighters launched a 40-kilogram explosive device at an Israeli infantry force which allegedly infiltrated the area of Juhor Ad-Dik, east of Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. They claimed that several Israeli soldiers were injured in the attack, noting that helicopters were seen flying over the area which suggests that soldiers were being evacuated.

They said that their military actions will continue in response to Israeli crimes in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
