Qalqiliya - Ma'an - The general director of the Palestinian non-governmental organization "Library on Wheels for Non-violence and Peace", Nafez Assaily, has started on Monday a fundraising tour to a number of European countries.

In France he is scheduled to meet with a Muslim group in the city of Nantes in order to talk about the heritage of non-violence in Islam and the library's activities.

In addition, he will visit the World Health Organization (WHO) in Switzerland. WHO supports the Library for Non-Violence and a delegation recently visited them in Palestine, including the coordinator for non-violence education, Ollie Chizel.

In Italy, there will be a signing of the agreement to publish in Italian a series of books about non-violence in Islam.

The last destination will be Holland where the director will meet with teachers and headmasters of schools where he hopes to be able to establish a form of cultural exchange and to arrange for children who attend the Palestinian non-violence library to visit Holland next summer.
