GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Eleven Palestinians were injured with Israeli live fire, during night protests, in the central and northern Gaza Strip, on late Thursday.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that five Palestinian protesters were injured east of Jabaliya, in northern Gaza, while another six were injured east of Gaza City, in central Gaza.

The ministry added that the 11 Palestinians suffered various injuries. However, their medical condition remained unknown.

Israeli forces repeatedly fired live ammunition and tear-gas bombs towards the large groups of protesters, as Palestinians ignite dozens of rubber tires on fire.

For several months, hundreds of Palestinian protesters, have been organizing, as well as participating in night protests, during which they set tires on fire and chant slogans through loud speakers, while marching towards the border with Israel. These protesters are also known as the "Night Confusion" unit.
