Israeli forces detain 10 Palestinians across West Bank

RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained at least 10 Palestinians, on predawn Sunday, across the occupied West Bank.

Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said that Israeli forces detained three Palestinians from the southern West Bank district of Hebron. They were identified as Muhammad Ashraf Issa, Samed Mahmoud Sabah, and Hamza Abu Yabes.

In the central West Bank district of Jerusalem, two Palestinians were detained near the Damascus Gate in the Old City. They were identified as Nour al-Ajlouni and Hassan Iyad.

In the central West Bank district of Ramallah, another two Palestinians were detained. PPS identified them as Aziz al-Rimawi and Mourad Kareem al-Barghouthi.

In the northern West Bank district of Qalqiliya, PPs said three Palestinians were detained by Israeli forces. They were identified as Mustafa al-Haj Hassan, Daoud Shanti, 23, and Muhammad Abed al-Latif Daoud.

According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,450 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons.
