Israeli army detains 'cell' responsible for attack against settlement

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- The Israeli army announced, Friday morning, detaining a Palestinian "cell" allegedly responsible for a shooting attack on an Israeli town south of Jerusalem last Saturday.

Israeli news outlets reported that a group of Palestinians who allegedly climbed onto the roof of a building in the Beit Fajjar village in the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem and opened fire at Israeli houses in the nearby Migdal Oz settlement.

No injuries or damages were reported in the attack.
