Israeli forces detain 4 Palestinians during West Bank raid

RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained four Palestinians from districts across the occupied West Bank, o predawn Friday.

Locals said that Israeli special forces raided the Kafr Nimeh and Bilin villages in western Ramallah in the central West Bank.

Israeli forces imposed closure on the two villages.

Sources added that Israeli soldiers fired bombs inside a Palestinian home, identified as belonging to Abu Mahdi Abu Rahmeh.

The bombs caused fire and burned parts of the house.

Israeli forces detained Abu Rahmeh’s son, Mahdi, his relative Tareq Abu Rahmeh from Bilin, and another Palestinian identified as Jaber Abdo from Kafr Nimeh.

A Palestinian photojournalist, identified as Haitham al-Khatib, was injured with a rubber-coated steel bullet in the leg as he was covering the raid in Bilin.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces raided al-Salam neighborhood in eastern Tulkarem City in the northern West Bank, and detained one Palestinian identified as Ahmad al-Badawi, 23, after raiding and searching his home.
