HEBRON (Ma’an) -- A Palestinian teenager was injured in the neck by shrapnel when unidentified assailants opened fire at a shop in Hebron City in the southern occupied West Bank on Saturday night.

Palestinian security sources told Ma’an that 15-year-old Samih Saad Abu Asab was lightly injured by the shrapnel and was transferred to a hospital for treatment.

They added that a police investigation into the case was ongoing, although primary reports indicated that the incident was likely linked to a family dispute in the area.
