BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- A rocket fired from the Gaza Strip landed in southern Israel on Wednesday, the Israeli army said.

"One rocket launched from the Gaza Strip landed in open area, with no injuries reported," an Israeli army spokesperson said.

The rocket landed near the Shaar Negev regional council. No Palestinian group has claimed responsibility.

In response to a rocket fired last week, Israel's army launched airstrikes on the Gaza Strip to target "two Hamas weapon manufacturing facilities in the northern Gaza Strip."

The strikes killed Nour Rasmi Hassan, who was five months pregnant, and her daughter, Rahaf Yahya Hassan, who was two-years-old.

Wasn't a good idea. It gives Netanyahu a winning edge which will push Israel to use their jetfighters something they are unable to use in Jerusalem, the West Bank and the region surrounded. And that's why we see Netanyahu's frustration by keeping on dividing Jerusalem.
