8-year-old drowns in Nablus swimming pool

NABLUS (Ma’an) -- An 8-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool on Friday evening at the Wadi al-Bathan park west of Nablus, medics said.

Palestinian Red Crescent officials said Amro Hamdullah Antari, 8, from Deir Sharaf village west of Nablus, drowned. Attempts to revive him failed and his body was taken to a Nablus hospital.

Police rushed to the area, and they said that they were informed that an 8-year-old boy drowned.
