GAZA CITY (Ma’an) – Thirty-nine businessmen from different Arab countries arrived Thursday in Gaza City on a solidarity trip.

A spokesman of the Hamas-run ministry of national economy Tariq Labad told Ma’an the businessmen were scheduled to attend an international investment conference in Gaza City. However, the conference was postponed due to five-day closure of Rafah crossing after Jihadist gunmen abducted seven Egyptian soldiers.

The businessmen will stay in Gaza for a few days.
