Israel detains Hamas leader in Nablus

NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Israeil forces on Sunday detained a Hamas leader in Nablus in the northern West Bank, locals said.

Hamas leader Tayseer Omaran was detained from his home in al-Marej street.

Saeed Bilal Baker Saeed, 19, was also arrested in Nablus and Adham al-Shawali was detained in nearby al-Asira village, locals told Ma'an.

An Israeli army spokesman did not respond to a request for comment.
