GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- An Israeli attack on Gaza City injured two Palestinians, one critically, Saturday afternoon in the eastern Shajaiyeh neighborhood, medical officials said.

The attacks came as the Palestinian death toll stood at 14 since Thursday, while Israel continues military operations that have also injured dozens since a deadly series of attacks near Eilat.

Earlier Saturday, Israeli forces attacked a group of people in northern Gaza early injuring a Palestinian man near the city of Beit Hanoun, medical officials and witnesses said.

The man, who was not immediately identified, was standing with a group of Palestinians at a junction on the edge of the city when Israeli aircraft opened fire, a Ma'an correspondent reported.
