Police arrest 23 people in Jericho

JERICHO (Ma’an) -- Palestinian police arrested 23 people in the city of Jericho on Thursday, a statement said.

The individuals were wanted for unpaid debts and fines. The police also issued 48 arrest warrants in the city.

In a separate incident, two people were injured in a car crash in Jericho. Both victims were taken to hospital for treatment.
