Ex-soldier posts pictures of detained Palestinians

Aug. 16, 2010 4:30 P.M. (Updated: Aug. 17, 2010 1:40 A.M.)
TEL AVIV, Israel (Ma'an) -- A former Israeli soldier has posted pictures on Facebook posing with cuffed and blindfolded Palestinians who she detained while in the army.

The Israeli news site Ynet reported that the soldier, identified only as Eden, was recently discharged from the army and had taken the pictures in 2008, which were uploaded onto the social networking site in an album entitled "Army...best time of my life:)".

The Israeli army responded: "This is shameless behavior by the soldier. In light of the fact that she was discharged last year, all of the details have been turned over to the commanders for further attention."
