Israeli forces detain civilian east of Jerusalem

Jerusalem - Ma'an - Israeli forces detained a resident of Al-Eizariya near Jerusalem on Thursday, the man's brother said.

Soldiers surrounded the house of Ra'ed Fayez Saleh Emteir, his brother said, before storming it and a store owned by the detainee.

He reported that soldiers destroyed property and that the brother was taken to an undisclosed location.

Ra'ed has been detained twice in the past and had been released six months earlier. He is affiliated with Fatah.
